Manual blasting with Jet Décap

Manual sanding is most often used to soften the wood after stripping or air-blasting the wood, as opposed to blasting, which will tend to open the wood grain.

Manual sanding closes the pores of the wood, thereby softening the material. It is for this reason that we suggest it (in some cases) as a finishing technique to give a softer and smoother finish to the wood after stripping.
This technique is also effective for cleaning and preparing a surface before treatment.

We do this by using a tool with an adjusted rotation speed and a special brush that is adapted to the different types of work.

Jet Décap has established a global approach combining loyalty to its principles and environmental protection. On a daily basis, we use 100% environmentally friendly abrasives.
